Energy consumption in commercial greenhouses can be reduced by over 30 percent with help from advanced IT-based control systems. What is the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences?
It is the ambition of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences to maintain, develop and communicate its acquired knowledge to ensure a sustainable agriculture and a production of high-quality foods. The faculty is one of the nine main teaching and research areas at Aarhus University.
Education at DJF?
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences offers four Master's degree programmes. The programmes are: Agrobiology, Agro-environmental Management, Biosystems Engineering, Molecular Nutrition and Food Technology.

The world’s largest biogas plant for research purposes is among the research facilities at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
